More Hot Foiling

For best results when hot foiling, using the right card is key. The card should be smooth and ideally at least 100 lb. I use the Hammermill White 100 lb Smooth Card when hot foiling on white card. Also the hot foils of different colours have slightly different heat levels for the ideal result. For example the Gold Hot Foil transfers at a lower heat than the Matte Gold Hot Foil - not sure why, but it just does. So as you experiment, note the timings and heat levels in the inner tube of the hot foil for future reference.
