Card #1

Spritz water with a mini mister onto a Neenah Solar 110lb card, insert into Organic Stones 3D Embossing Folder and run through embossing machine using the appropriate ‘sandwich’ for your machine. Remove from embossing folder and apply distress inks Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, and Uncharted Mariner with an ink blending tool. Apply ink lightly so it only hits the raised areas.

Smoosh some distress ink Uncharted Mariner onto glass mat, add some water with a paint brush and splatter onto card panel. When dry, back card panel with fun foam (for sturdiness and dimension) and adhere to side-folding card front.

Die cut hello using Tiny Sentiments: Hello Die three times from white, green, and black card. Stamp sub—sentiment from Tiny Sentiments: Hello Stamp with Obsidian Pigment Ink utilising a stamping platform for accurate stamping. Layer the three die cuts with liquid glue slightly off-setting die cut each time so all three colours are visible from the front. Use a T-ruler to ensure sentiment is adhered straight on card panel.

Card #2

Apply distress ink Wild Honey, Candied Apple, Broken China, and Cracked Pistachio onto Neenah Solar 110lb card with an ink blending tool. Spritz water with a mini mister onto back of inked card panel, insert into Organic Stones 3D Embossing Folder and run through embossing machine using the appropriate ‘sandwich’ for your machine. Note: Place inked panel with inked side facing upwords on ‘flat’ side of embossing folder so that the inked side is debosed.

Then use a large blending tool which has a flat bristle surface and apply a darker ink, Walnut Stain to flat parts of the debossed panel. When done, sprinkle gold embossing powder on edges of card panel (after cutting it down to desired size to adhere to card front) and melt embossing powder from back of card panel with heat tool. Back card panel with fun foam (for sturdiness and dimension) and adhere to side-folding card front.

Die cut wishing using Tiny Sentiments: Wishing Die twice with white card. Stamp sub—sentiment from Tiny Sentiments: Wishing Stamp with Teal Cave ink utilising a stamping platform for accurate stamping. Layer the two die cuts with liquid glue for sturdiness and dimension. Use a T-ruler to ensure sentiment is adhered straight on card panel.

Card #3

Apply distress oxide inks, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Blueprint Sketch with ink blending tool to raised side of the Organic Stones 3D Embossing Folder (side of folder where the title of the folder is printed). Note: Ensure the ink is blended and there is no clear delineation of the colours.

Spritz Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and place on uninked side of the embossing folder and close folder carefully and run through embossing machine using the appropriate ‘sandwich’ for your machine. Back card panel with fun foam (for sturdiness and dimension) and adhere to side-folding card front.

Die cut hello using Tiny Sentiments: Hello Die twice from light green card. Stamp sub—sentiment from Tiny Sentiments: Hello Stamp with Obsidian Pigment Ink utilising a stamping platform for accurate stamping. Layer the two die cuts with liquid glue for sturdiness and dimension. Use a T-ruler to ensure sentiment is adhered straight on card panel.

Spritz Canson watercolor paper as well as the inked embossing folder. Place on uninked side of the embossing folder, and close folder carefully and run through embossing machine using the appropriate ‘sandwich’ for your machine. Stamp sub—sentiment from Tiny Sentiments: Wishing Die with clear embossing ink utilising a stamping platform for accurate stamping. Sprinkle with Pure White embossing powder and melt embossing powder with heat tool. Layer the two die cuts with liquid glue for sturdiness and dimension. Card #5

Spritz water with a mini mister onto a Canson watercolor paper, insert into Organic Stones 3D Embossing Folder and run through embossing machine using the appropriate ‘sandwich’ for your machine.

Swipe distress oxide inks, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Blueprint Sketch onto glass mat and spritz water with mini mister. Place debossed side of embossed card panel on the wicked ink. Dry and ‘dip’ again into ink until deisred results obtained. Note: Dry in between ‘dips’ with heat tool so the colours layer rather than become muddy coloured.

I also used additional watercolour paper panels as there was additional ink left on the glass mat. I use these ink smooshed card panel to make a couple of Christmas cards here (to be availble of 2 Oct 2022).
