Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Swatches and Colour Combos

This post shows how I create colour combos (lots and lots of them) using distress inks and distress oxide inks. I also show a new ink blending technique - the 'Luke Brennan pouncing technique'! And I make 5 cards showcasing these different techniques.

Check out the video here for Distress Ink Storage, Foam Storage, Reinker Storage, Distress Ink Swatches, and Color Combo Swatches.

Ink Blending Techniques

Distress Ink - Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord

Method #1 - Ink blending with circular motion using an ink blending tool with foam

Method #2 - Method #1 + ‘pouncing’ colour with foam to intensify distress ink colour

Method #3 - Method #1 + Method #2 + sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder (x5) + stamp while glaze still hot to create stamp impression. It will be much better to use Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE) for this technique.
