This post shows how I make a card for the CRAFT Challenge #672. I use a digital stamp, Showers of Tulips from Jan’s Digi Stamp at 120% on X-Press It Blending Card with my laser printer, and I also print it on a copier paper. I fussy cut the latter, spray the back with Pixie spray to turn it into a mask.

As the theme for this challenge is ‘Anything Goes’, I decide to go with an inspiration sentiment from Sweet ‘N Sassy Faith stamp.

Turn on laminator to heat up and be ready. Cut the Bronze Deco Foil with a quick trimmer to the size of the printed image. Place piece of trimmed to size Bronze Deco Foil (pretty/shiny side up) on printed image and place into a folded sheet of copier paper, which will serve a a carrier sheet. Run through carrier sheet which holds the printed image and Bronze Deco Foil through the laminator. Tip: I used a very old and cheap laminator, so I had to run the carrier sheet through the laminator five times! However if you have a new laminator, once or twice should do the trick.

Colour image with Copic markers as follows:

Umbrella handle - E21, E23, E25, E29

Umbrella body - Y13, Y15, Y17, YR23

Bow - BG01, BG05, BG07

Flowers - RV10, RV13, RV17

Leaves - YG01, YG03, YG17

Fussy cut the image on the copier paper to use as a mask after spraying the back with repositionable adhesive spray. Place created mask over the image and place halftone stencil on card panel. Apply Altenew Moon Rock dye ink with a small blending brush.

Trim card panel to slightly smaller than card base. Insert card panel into a stamping platform, and treat with anti-static powder. Then stamp the sentiment from Sweet ‘N Sassy Faith stamp with Obsidian Pigment Ink, sprinkle with clear embossing powder, and melt embossing powder with a heat tool.

Back card panel with fun foam using double-sided tape and attach to card base. Attach tiny gems to card front using a gem picker tool and liquid glue.
